Biography for Roy Simon
Roy Simon serves Michigan State University as the Senior Advisor to the Executive Vice President for Administrative Services. He served as the Director of Telecommunication, Transportation and Landscape Services in Infrastructure, Planning and Facilities before his current appointment. In his new position supporting the mission and objectives of the university, he has responsibility for analyzing and integrating the need of forecasting along with forward planning and budgeting review. He works closely with various academic and non-academic units on special projects to streamline processes and operations.
Dr. Simon earned his bachelor’s degree in finance, a master’s degree in supply chain/logistics with a minor in finance, a Ph.D. in administration and higher education with full cognates in finance and statistics, and a postdoctoral degree in computer networking. He completed each degree at Michigan State University.
